WebThere’s no work-around that I know of, for Revit to cast a shadow it has to have the item in view. I have previously done a (not very savvy) manual version of this by showing everything I need to cast a shadow & adding a fill region in a transparent grey to the extent of shadows. Then you can change your view range or hide whatever you need to.
