The medium Burris Sig. #420554 rimfire rings were just a hair low for this 44mm objective to work on this varmint model however they did work on my 455 American with a thinner barrel. Done; put some pencil reference marks on the scope tube at the cap and test shoot some checking the mark for movement of the tube in the rings. If it does, torque all the cap screws a smidge more and retest.
