Web30 de jan. de 2024 · I'm trying to create a generic model for involute gears that are driven by parameters and relations. I'm also trying to use the part parameters (module, number of teeth, pressure angle) for the involute curve generation, but I noticed that the parameters for equations differ from part parameters (different option from the drop down menu in the … WebIn other words, setting two or more discrete dimensions or feature values to be driven by the same variable is permissible. 3. Many dialogues in Onshape can take in formulas. In these dialogues, any variable can be used in a formula. This is useful when you want your design to have self relationships or even spatial relationships.

Tech Tip: Using Driven Variables in Onshape
Web28 de out. de 2024 · $\begingroup$ Since the curve is hand drawn its not just a single smooth curve, its more like a spline with multiple node points. From the little mathematics that I know you are asking to find the order of the equation and then use n+1 points and then after that I am a bit lost. Is it possible to dumb it down a bit. Web17 de ago. de 2024 · Haven't played with SW driven curves or attempted to do what you are asking for here so not much help there. That being said here are a few other suggestions SW related to look into. 1) SW macro/API. Seems like you could do this fairly easily using that system. 2) Excel and then import points, connect the dots. WebI just modeled an internal involute gear this week. There are some parametric equations for it online for an equation driven curve. For a profile shift, I ended up resorting to making 20 copies of a rack as a surface body with a sketch curve pattern along an involute and using a spline with the guidelines set colinear, cutting a tooth half, mirroring it across the tooth … bitches brew album
