Webb18 feb. 2007 · My gas fireplace had been working fine until today...when I went to turn the knob to light the pilot light, it lit; however, after I turned to knob counterclockwise like I always do to actually turn the fireplace on, it will not light. The pilot light immediately goes out as soon as I begin to turn the knob.
